Although action and romantic films are two very different genres, we can find similarities. In both there is fantasy, but focused in different ways. For instance, in action movies, unreal things happen and show us a special fantasy, and in romantic ones, that fantasy is synonymous with illusion. When plans are made in the couple, when actors talk of dreams... that's the fantasy they show us in this kind of films.
Secondly, in both genres we find deaths, and both focus on drama. Many action movies contain deaths of characters that are loved by viewers. The same thing happens in romantic movies when one of the members of the couple dies.
To sum up, treason is a very present thing in action movies. It generates fights and clashes and in romantic ones it also happens although differently. They are two different genres that if we look closely we will find several things in common, but in different ways.
