I remember perfectly the day I arrived in Miami. Everything seemed very strange to me, but I soon got used to it.
When I arrived, my host family was waiting for me at the airport. Before going home, I remember that they gave me a tour of the neighborhood where they lived and showed me the way to school.
Afterward, I went with their daughter, who was the same age as me, to buy clothes and we had dinner at Mc Donalds.
It wasn't the best day of my life but it was really exciting because I had been dreaming of spending time in the United States for years.
