When I was little, I went every Sunday with my grandfather to buy bread for lunch. I remember that we had pennies to spare and my grandfather always told me to throw them on the floor because that way he was spreading his luck because whoever found them would think that today would be a good day.
My grandfather passed away in 2011, and since then I decided to continue doing the same thing I did with him, throwing away the 1 cent coins that I have leftover when I buy something.
I think that he is still spreading his luck as he thought.
